Have you ever wanted to learn Calligraphy? Come do it for a great cause! Learn the basics and beginner techniques of Modern Calligraphy at Dots Cafe in Pasadena! All the profits from this class will be going to RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services) which is a nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees in Texas.

All students will receive everything they need to dive in - all tools come with the class, and are yours to take home. We’ll cover everything from basic strokes to full alphabets, and talk about developing your personal calligraphy style in this comprehensive 3 hour class! At the end of class, we will be addressing envelopes in calligraphy, to write to our local representatives to ask for change. With light refreshments from Dots Cafe, it's going to be a great time!

As a thank you, we will be giving you a swag bag full of goodies valued at over $100, from brands such as Our Sacred Women, Gjenmi, and SwellPress.

After class, stay for a POP UP SHOP that will be in the same space! Amazing female entrepreneurs will be selling their products and all profits from these sales will also go towards RAICES. Some supporting vendors are Smoko, Gjenmi Jewelry, and Sadaf Murad Photography and I Loot Paperie!
